AudioScribe
is planning the release of SpeechCAT 8 this spring. In conjunction with
the release, we are planning a tour of the country to Educate and motivate
you all on the new product.
SpeechCAT
8 will have great new features including:
- Phrase
Replacements, Prefixing and Suffixing (also known as Realtime Rules
which is REAL intelligence as opposed to ‘artificial intelligence’)
- Enhanced
Cart & Captioning Features
- Views
for assuring that you only see features that relate to your specific
us of the product (Court reporting, CART, Captioning)
- Print
Sets (providing you the ability to print a transcript with graphics
and headers and footers without going to a word processor)
- And
much more...
If
we do host a SpeechCAT 8 Seminar in your area, we will be offering another
seminar featuring Christine Ales called "Whip It", depending
on demand. This seminar focuses on techniques for increasing your accuracy.
In
order to provide seminars in various locations, we are requiring that
each location have a minimum of ten attendees. Once we have a minimum
of 10 interested Trailblazers, we will then find a venue to host the seminars.
Please let us know of any suggestions for a venue or location that you
might have.
We
understand that there are users who have never moved from SpeechCAT 6
to 7 and for those customers, we could put on a SpeechCAT 6 to 8 seminar
which would focus on orientation to use of the SpeechCAT 7/8 product.
We
are going to try to customize the seminars based on the needs of the users
in the area. If you are interested, please complete and fax in the questionnaire
(below) to assist us in meeting your specific needs.
If
we have ten or more interested parties in other areas, we may open more
locations, but these locations are only suggestions at this point until
we have enough interest.
