About Our Office:
(built 1901)
Our
quaint office was first a Post Office and then became the first bank located
here in Breaux Bridge

The
building also served as a Service Center similar to Goodwill or the Salvation
Army. Renovations on the building began in mid 2007. The goal was to keep
the old and mingle it with new. The original bricks are exposed in most
of the building. The original tin ceiling tiles were recycled and became
the wainscoting for the building. The entire front of the building is
a glass window façade allowing for natural light throughout the
day. All of the wood that has been added to create offices as well as
a seven inch molding in the great room, cabinets in the Kitchenette, doors
and vanities of the building is made of cypress - the treasured south
Louisiana wood known for its beauty and longevity in the harsh sub-tropic
environment. Nestled in the heart of downtown Breaux Bridge with many
Antique stores, café's and specialty shops; the charm and atmosphere
of the building is inviting. If you are ever down this way, stop in for
a visit.
