Computer Skills
The Computer Skills class introduces the learner to the Windows 10 Operating System and is designed to educate the learner on updates, setting options in Windows, using tiles, backing up settings and what can be done from the Desktop of the computer. The learner will come to understand how to use the File Manager and how to assure that USB devices are properly set in the Device Manager not to go to sleep on their own. The learner will understand more about disk cleanup, the recycle bin and scanning for viruses. This is a mandatory class for anyone who signs up for any class on ACE. The learner may opt to test out of the class by taking the Prerequisite Exam.
