Hard Setup, a service AudioScribe offers customers who are “in contract” (current in support and upgrades). The purpose of this service is to:
1) Receive
2) Serialize
3) Configure for best performance (by minimizing extraneous software running on the pc)
4) Install AudioScribe software as well as related software such as Dragon, word processor or Transcript C&I
5) Restore from the backup that YOU PROVIDE of your existing AudioScribe software
6) Test the entire system
7) Create and provide a hardware handy specifically for you which contains picture of your setup with step by step instructions on hooking up your equipment
What’s the cost?
The cost is $850.00 USD which includes FedEx shipping with signature required.
When you purchase the computer directly from AudioScribe, Hard Setup is included in the price of the pc.
Timetable
In order to schedule a Hard Setup, you must request that a Quote be sent to you, then you must sign and email that quote back to AudioScribe, you may also send signed quote and payment with your PC.. You must inform AudioScribe of your shipment and your computer should be identified as yours. Once the computer and software needed, questionnaires and backup are received it could take 10 business days to one month.
Payment on the Invoice must be received at AudioScribe before the PC will be shipped out
to you.
ALL SHIPMENTS are sent insured and REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.
